Brooch丨Firefly and Shark

Original design pieces from 'Daparo Yeung' China. The entire production process including illustrating, moulding, colouring, polishing and pin riveting is done by hand.
 
These brooches are made of zinc alloy, gold-plated and are decorated with enamel and paint materials. The shapes represent a firefly native to Yunnan Province, China as well as the famous whale shark. Because the firefly brooch is inlaid with fluorescent materials, it can emit light by itself at night after being illuminated by strong light.
