Red Dragon is a variety of Yunnan Dianhong Kungfu red tea. The raw material consists of single buds or plump single tea buds sourced from tea gardens in the high mountains of Yunnan. It is meticulously crafted through the traditional steps involved in red tea processing: withering, rolling, fermentation, and drying.
Its characteristics are as follows: the dried tea leaves are plump and robust, fully covered with a golden fuzz; the liquor is bright red and translucent; the aroma carries notes of honey and sweet chocolate; the taste is fresh, mellow, and smooth, with a lasting sweetness; the infused leaves are reddish, supple, and vibrant.
